This wetseason friendly tote has been lovingly made by the hands of disadvantaged impoverished women in India. It is made from recycled polyethylene using a complex process of melting used plastic, drying and shaping it and turning it into plastic strands that are then woven. The result is this unique bag that will stand the test of time. By purchasing this creation you are not only helping to empower these women, you are also supporting an ethos of slow fashion: that is ethically conscious, sustainable and environmentally friendly wares that are also pretty damn fabulous if we do say so ourselves.
